Andrew M. Seybold, President and CEO of Andrew Seybold, Inc., is one of the most respected and influential champions of mobile wireless innovation. Since 1983, he has served his clients and the industry as an analyst, consultant, commentator and author, as well as an active participant in industry trade organizations. Mr. Seybold has and does serve on a number of advisory boards including Motorola's prestigious Visionary Research Council. He is widely known throughout the wireless communications industry for his keen perspective as well as his track record for accurately predicting trends in mobile wireless technology and convergence. Mr. Seybold is a frequent speaker at leading industry events such as CES and CTIA Wireless, and at corporate events for Fortune 1000 companies. Robert C. Chapin joined Andrew Seybold, Inc. in 1998. Mr. Chapin's role at the Company includes wireless consulting, editorial development and training programs for Andrew Seybold University. Previously, he developed Cellular Marketing's Master Cellular Sales Certification curriculum, the first nationally offered training program for cellular sales executives. Prior to that, Mr. Chapin served as editorial director and associate publisher of Cardiff Publishing's Communications Group, where he directed content and focus of such leading industry publications as Cellular Marketing, Satellite Communications and Global Communications. He has also worked with companies including Nokia, Sanyo, Sony Ericsson, Verizon, Ericsson, Nortel and T-Mobile in various aspects of the development of strategic direction, marketing plans and business processes.
 
 
Barney L. Dewey joined Andrew Seybold, Inc. in 1997, bringing to the Company more than thirty years of business strategy, planning and executive management, consulting and training for wireless services and products (technology). Previously, he held executive-level posts at Notable Technologies, Inc. where he established and implemented the company's wireless-based business direction, and at Calera Recognition Systems where he brought new OCR technologies to market. Prior to Calera, Mr. Dewey held positions at Apple Computer, where he led business plan development, product strategy and planning for handheld device connectivity and wireless and multimedia services. Mr. Dewey began his career at Motorola, where he designed and implemented wireless communications systems.
 
Robert J. Hirsh contributes his extensive experience in wireless infrastructure and strategic partnerships to the clients of Andrew Seybold, Inc. Mr. Hirsh previously served in various directorships and strategic roles at Verizon Wireless and its predecessor, Bell Atlantic Mobile, beginning in 1993. He helped Verizon with its original entry into wireless data, defining support infrastructure for the initial launch of CDPD, establishment of numerous alliance partner programs and mergers and, most recently, with the transition to 3G technologies. Prior to that, Mr. Hirsh worked for IBM in a variety of national and international sales and marketing capacities.
 
 
 
James C. Hobbs joined Andrew Seybold, Inc. in 2003 to serve as a specialist in applications and device business development and business plan/ technology assessment and forecasting. His diverse and extensive wireless business contributions to BellSouth began with the start-up of BellSouth's cellular and paging operations, where he was responsible for business planning. As BellSouth Chief Strategist-Wireless, he was heavily involved in both domestic and international M&A, and the start-up of BellSouth International and BellSouth Mobile Data Group, which at their highpoint had wireless network operations in 21 countries. He also served for eight years as VP-Operations in the Mobile Data Group and awarded RIM its first BlackBerry contract. He is a past Chairman of the Mobitex Operators Association and the Personal Computing and Communications Association.
